killer instinct season 2

I'm sure the way they are doing Season 2 won't sit well with everyone (I can understand) but I'll be downloading the $40 version when available. I rather have the 2 characters, new modes, UI overhaul, KI 2, etc at the start with a new character each month
than wait all the way until sometime next year for the 8 characters at once. For some that's not a bad idea but I don't think they want to let the game sit that long without anything new.

If a Season 1 and Season 2 disc collection is made, do you think that all of the game updates will already be included or will a game update still be downloaded when you install the game?

If they can fix the numerous things that's wrong with the game, that alone will make me happy. That being said, I'm happy they finally got a new update recently that's pointed them in that general direction.

 

What's in the new update? Anything major in changes or just a few hiccups and patch?? I haven't played in a while, hopefully they'll have a sale on characters again. I can only imagine when they release a Street Fighter Xbox 1 version then we'll see another
competition among fighter games. This is a genre that I loved in the 90's on SNES and Genesis and it's great seeing it come back. Although I've watched some of the replays from your fights GG and I think I need alot more practice before I were to ever play
you, it's be a murder scene, lol.

 

@Geek I understand the model they are doing with the game, I just dont like it. Instead of buying day one and having 8 characters available, I buy day one and have 2? That just screams ripoff. Ill wait 6 months and buy a full game instead of getting spoon
fed a little at a time.

 

i dont like the way they do it but love killer instinict so it is a must for me at least i get amonth to practic with new chracters before the next arrives and i get toplay ki2 which was my fav beat em up

 

That's perfectly fine Akame, but I must warn you - it's always better to start off when fighting games are new. When they 1st release, everybody's on the same level and learning the ins and outs and intricate details of the game's fighting mechanics and
the strengths and weaknesses of each of the characters. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for you to do that since more people will be familiar with how to play the game and have already learned the ins and outs of the game and will crush you over
and over again. It's in large part the reason why many gamers not familiar or new with fighting games are put off by them - they're simply overwhelmed. If you wait, I guarantee that you will be too.

 

Well if their will only be TJ Combo at the start then I might hold off on buying it Day One. Save up my bing points for AC: Unity instead.

 

Dwoop, I just noticed your post. Regarding the update, if you have the game, you can see exactly what they fixed on the title screen blade by pressing Y. A quick run down though is that they've fixed the jail system and frequent drops in multiplayer (particularly
where lobby mode is concerned). There's more, but that's the important stuff.

Also, despite the fact that I WILL destroy you, I'm actually pretty fun to fight because I'm friendly and funny and despite the fact that you won't be winning, I can guarantee you a laugh.
