killer instinct season 2 update out now

When you buy Season 2, you will get all of the characters and the Original Killer Instinct 2 game as a thank you (bonus).

Also, you will recieve characters as they become available. It isn't like fightning games in the past where you instantly had access to the full roster of fighters at the get go.

Long story short, you're paying $40 for a game that won't have all of the characters for a good while so you have to be patient

Kan-Ra reminds me of Mum-Ra the EVER LIVING!!! Totally can't wait to see what he plays like.

I'm more interested in Riptor and the silhouette of the guy with the blue eyes though. It looks as though we are getting a ton of new characters this season instead of them finishing out the old roster.

 

Just to clarify... if I buy the Season 2 digital, I'd only be getting the new characters, right? I would not get any of the characters from Season 1 (aside from the 1 monthly rotating character)?

 

Not 100% sure on that if you look at the bundle for ultra edition it shows Ki 2 classic the season 2 logo and the season one logo but not sure if that's just the game without the characters

 

@ZenSteve You would only get the characters from season 2 (Combo, Maya, Kan-Ra, etc). Its easier to think of them as character pack 1&2 for me. Hope that helps.
