I want to buy the original Killer Instinct 2 only without the having to buy the digital version of Killer Instinct season 2.

This is going to be like Halo 4 all over again (where I just wanted to play Spartan Ops, not the campaign / story mode), so I didn't pick-up Killer Instinct season 2.

I beat Maya's story mode already and it kind of reminds of Nightmare's story from Soul Calibur

Since I don't care about using anyone else besides Maya, I will just watch the rest of the endings on Youtube because I am curious to see what happends to them

Just finished ALL of the story modes (check my achievements for proof).

Overall, it's pretty good, but also a bit campy. It even sets itself up for a season 3, which is quite nice. However, if you're looking for Netherrealm's level of cinematic storytelling, you won't find it here as it's done almost entirely with stills and
a few animations with a voiceover (personally and honestly though, I think it's better story-wise than MKX because it's not all about ridiculous family squabbles).
