Killer Instinct Season 2 (Give me my characters please, thanks)

So I don't play KI too often, usually pretty busy. but I like it and I bought the season 2 combo pack. So I should have those characters as they are released. My system downloaded the characters but I cannot choose to play as any of them; when I should be
able to... because I paid for them.

When I go into the store and check the DLC it indicates to me that it is 'installed' With no purchase option. This make sense with that whole thing where I paid money for it.

If I'm playing the game single player; the new characters will show up and I'll be able to fight AGAINST them (pc controlled) but in the selection area they are grey, the game tells me to get the DLC.

I am signed in to my normal account on which I bought the DLC. From my end it should be; load the game and select them with no thought or effort exerted other than "I want to play as maya, or tj combo and therefore I will.. because I paid for them.

This is almost as bad as the time Fez vanished from my xbox 360 library and Polytron covered Microsofts Behind by giving me a download code for it on another service.

This could be a simple fix but I shouldn't have to fix it.

TLR. I payed for the KI season 2 combo pack. the characters are downloaded but the game won't let me use them. I am unsure of why.

Confirmed Season 2 details

The streams did hint at Cinder, Riptor, Combo, Tusk.

Killer Instinct Season 1 and 2 Double Combo Purchase

I purchased Killer Instinct Season 1 and 2 Double Combo pack and only have Season 1 Characters??

Hi, sometimes games do this and not recognise a piece of dlc, it's happened to me on numerous occasions. I usually if on the xbox one I hold the power button down until it turns off, turn the xbox back on, delete the game and it's relevent dlc, then redownload
them. That usually works. If I was on the 360, instead of turning off the console, I would just clear the cache and delete and redownload the game, again it usually fixes issues like this. Try it, and let us know if it works.

It is a shame that my purchase didn't count towards this fundraiser, because Maya is the only character that I use in Killer Instinct season 2.

I don't care about the characters in Killer Instinct season 1, but maybe I will purchase the season 1 character bundle if it goes on sale LOL

Didn't a disc copy of Killer Instinct season 1 come out already? If so, If I find that disc copy for cheap and install it; does that mean I will have access to all of the season 1 characters even though the Killer Instinct season 1 disc is not in the Blu-Ray
Drive and I am playing Killer Instinct season 2? Has anyone tried this?

What I'm simply trying to say is that I want to purchase the latest version of Killer Instinct because (unless I'm misunderstanding this, then I sincerely apologize and please clear it up for me) the characters from Season 1 will be reappearing in Season
2 with the new characters.

Now, lets just say for examples sake that there is a total of 4 Seasons of the Killer Instinct game and every character released will once again reappear in the Season 4 retail disc version along side with the new characters from Season 4.

The retail disc version of Season 4 is what I want to buy, not the previous 3 seasons

I ceratainly hope that this clears up what I was trying to say in my previous post
