Killer Instinct Season 2 Changes Pt. 1 (System & Mechanics)

I wonder if that's because they count each small portion of the game sold seperately as it's own unique sale?

It's probably the top selling "Killer Instinct" game on the ONE though.

 

I think it probably has more to do with the fact that it's free to start, Azrael. Even though it's free to us, the developers are still likely making a huge profit as a result of the game's purchases or some set deal we may not know about. Also, if you look
at the rest of the list you'll also notice that other games that were part of the GwG promotion are also there - this supports my theory.

Even when Double Helix was behind Killer Instinct,Maximillan was the only You Tuber talking about it,got infos,doing interviews,.....

Can't wait for season 2.....

 

I like Max; he's got personality. Still, wish he was more on point with the timing of his videos. He's got 2 more videos coming out to explain the changes to the characters - information that I was able to find almost immediately elsewhere because the developers
apparently did a live stream on it.

 

Max is always pretty late, especially his MKX vids but he is entertaining so I don't mind.

 

I actually only recently found out that he's often late, which is unfortunate because I rely on him as a key source for fighting game info...

I'm finally starting to rise in the ranks in KI like I'm supposed to - I'm now a rank 8. I think it has something to do with the recent update that released a few days ago; every time a match gets dropped due to lag it counts as a win for me. The other night
I was dropped from 7 out of 10 matches, so those "wins" are starting to add up.

Jago's double fireballs while in Instinct mode are going to be incredibly annoying. Beware the spammers!

 

Looking forward to the next vid to see the Spinal changes in action. Also can't wait to see the matchup between Spinal and Wulf! With the changes it shouldn't be as tough for Spinal now.

 

Tough? Against Sabrewulf? He's easy to beat using Spinal! Just stay back and use his heavy punch and fireballs to keep him at bay. If he tries to rush you with ANY of his special moves, just use the absorb attack to get more skulls and then counter attack
with a full-on combo. If he tries to get in by jumping, simply press down and heavy punch to knock him out of the air (or jump backwards and then press medium kick). If he tries to dash in, poke him with light punch.

Some characters have the ability to hit you multiple times while in the air (Sadira being the most prominent in this case), while almost anyone can "bounce you in the air" - this is called juggling and is a prominent staple in fighting games. The new system
allows for you to not be completely defenseless while being hit multiple times in the air or even juggled. This is important to have because before this update, Sadira was considered the best character overall because she could perform whole combos in the
air which couldn't be countered in any way whereas every other character was vulnerable to the regular combo and counter-breakers.
