Darn, I ran out of editing time (glad I've gotten in the habit of copying my responses before posting).

Still, I'm happy with air-combo breakers (balances out Sadira), the changes to the manual system (which I found incredibly difficult). and the overall damage adjustment. Also, was my favorite character (Thunder) shooting lightning!? Where did that come from!?


I'm so excited for this, especially since I just posted in the KI forums about some of these issues late last night that this update addresses.

Just finished going through the entire character list. I have to say, I like Fulgore's changes too. I've been learning how to play with him and having to waste time after a throw or HK to gain pips was annoying - now I won't have to worry about that anymore.
In addition, I found his teleport really hard to do - now that his charge move has been removed and the teleport is replacing it with QCB+K, it'll be much easier to pull off and make him far more aggressive (as he should be).

 

Could have been a great game.

The decision to market this like an App Store Money Grabber on a £400.00 console was a big mistake though.

Killer Instinct? More like "Killed Interest".

 

I just went to post about this in the KI xbox.com forum and found a thread that takes you directly to the
official KI forums! I didn't even know this existed because the original official forums went down the drain along wit Double Helix. Not only that, but it's apparently been around since
July! Boy, have I been missing out...

 

Azrael, you do realize that it's one of the top-selling games on the Xbox One right? I'd say it didn't kill many people's interest at all.

No it's not.

You're confusing it with "Titanfall", "Call of Duty: Ghosts", "Battlefield 4", "Forza Motorsport 5" and "Dead Rising 3" which all sold over a million copies.

I'm not saying it's a bad game.

Just that it would have been more popular if they hadn't been so greedy about it.

 

Some good changes to the characters. Spinal sounds great! Can't wait to see Khoalski using this new & improved Spinal! I like the Orchid changes as well ;-)

 

Azrael, all you have to do is go to the games store and it's right there under top-selling.
