I don't think IG's done just enough yet to warrant whether or not they have done any better than DH. They've only done ONE character, I say we wait till they finish up the game first, THEN we can decide if this is true or not.

 

@JEFFRON27 agreed, but it looks good so far... let's just hope that they actually release one or two patches before fall, although it kinda seems by now, that they won't :-(

But maybe they're fixing all or most of it in one big patch and waits with releasing it till they've tested it properly. Now if that happened it's already boding well for IG, because proper testing don't seem to be Double Helix's strong side, no matter how
amazing a product they made.

 

DH make a good job but all the stage in season 1 look dead

IG with the tj stage make a better job the stage have more than 3 color and he look alive.

I trust IG with season 2 i hope with season 2 he remake stage the season 1

 

@INoTroN I agree with you on Combo's stage... that is in my eyes, by far the greatest looking stage yet, and (kinda) interactive too... love it...

I don't know about remaking the season 1 stages, but if they polished them up and made them as alive as Combo's that would be amazing but maybe that's also what you meant

I'm still a lot for the suggestion that was on DH's forum, about remaking classic stages (both KI 1 and 2) and having them play the classic music (or maybe a *** Gordon polished version of them)... if they do it, I'm not expecting it to be anytime soon,
but now the suggestion is out there again

 

I hope IG use the 10% more power dev kit in KI

Thing is everyone is praising them for creating Combo in 6 weeks however he won't be fully finished they said until the end of EVO. So in reality it has taken them much longer then six weeks to fully complete him.

As for IG been more proficient than DH that remains to be seen for me, TJ's stage is very dark and brooding. Let's not write off DH and the work they did just yet, IG have showed one character and one stage so far certainly not enough to say they are a better
dev team

 

@Lord Crisp I do think that IG will get characters out quicker, but I don't think that it's because they are more efficient.

DH had to build the fundamental game from the ground up, and spend significant resource throughout the character development period balancing things, adding things, building game modes, the dojo. Their focus was split over building a system, building game
modes and building characters.

IG have the relative luxury (although they have a tonne of bug fixing to do as well) of focussing much more clearly on getting characters out into a game that is already built.
