    Killer Instinct issue with no response from developer


    I've had KI since launch, bought the Ultra, so got season 2 automatically, and so on. On April 9th I bought some KI Gold for the heck of it to unlock a few things and played for a little while. Then I did not play again for a month, got into some
    other games, gamer ADD, lol. I log in May 18th, and all my characters are now level 1, AND I have ZERO KI gold.

    I tried contacting the developer(at the direction of XBOX support) and have not got any response yet, but this is borderline criminal. At least acknowledge that there are server issues or something, so that we know its being worked on.

    Ive tried everything from my end:

    Hard reset

    Verified good Network, Open NAT etc.

    Even reinstalled the game 21GB download, at the direction of XBOX phone rep. Knew that would be a waste of my time.

    This has to be a game server issue, why else would my characters be level 1 and all my gold be gone?

    I'm not sure what my next course of action should be.

    As much as you're not going to want to hear it, this is likely something that only the developers will be able to restore. I don't think that the support staff can do much about this.

    How did you contact the developer about this? Do they have a live-chat feature or a support phone number you could try?

    No, XBOX support only gave me the site www.killerinstinctcentral.com as a means to contact. There is no number, only an email form on the site, and I have gotten no response from them. Microsoft should be able to push them, it is a Microsoft Studio published

    I have heard of a similar bug before but they are supposed to have been patched by the devs ages ago so I am wondering if you have been caught by a save game bug that didn't save any of your progress.

    I would think they would have some way to track accounts with gold purchases so fingers crossed!
