Killer Instinct - Hisako character and Shadows mode

Well, Killer Instinct made a splash at their GDC panel yesterday by announcing their newest character and new game mode, Hisako (a.k.a., Ghost Girl) and Shadows, respectively. The new character was inspired by female-ghost characters from films like "The
Ring" and "The Grudge" (She is done surprisingly well, IMO, and can be seen she is a counter and grappler-style of character). The new game mode, Shadows (which can be seen

here), is very reminiscent of Forza Motorsport 5's drivatar system - it tracks how you fight, which moves you use the most and how often, as well as specific mannerisms such as teabagging in between rounds (which just goes to show how deep this new mode
may actually be), among other things. This allows other players to learn your style of play and more capable at fighting against you even if you're not actually online. Heck, you can even fight against yourself to learn your own strengths and weaknesses (which,
IMO, is very cool).

So, fighting game aficionados or not, what do you guys think of this new unique character concept (especially in regards to other fighting games) and game mode (which I'm not entirely sure has ever even been done in a fighting game before, at least not to
this level of depth anyways)?

Fan of the old school Killer Instinct? Well, Cinder, the last of the original characters from the original KI, has now officially been teased at the end of the Hisako trailer. As for Hisako? She's pretty scary-looking in her own right! Thoughts?

Hope she got a weird crab crawl lol love the idea of her possessing characters and shadow mode could be great

 

Her backwards dash IS the crab crawl - you can clearly see it early on in the video I linked to in my 1st post.

My apologies, but I was mistaken - the crawl is a special move of hers that ends in a teleport and is done by pressing b+HP, not her back-dash.
