killer instinct definitive edition for windows 10

Unable to get killer instinct definitive edition for windows 10 applied to the base game. it's been more than 24hrs and in that time I have uninstalled both platforms and reinstalled it and no luck.. in the XBOX App shows that I own it and that it is installed..
need help.

Old Killer Instinct

Hello

I bough Killer Instinct for windows 10 some ago.

There was a definitive edition saying that if you buy it, you would be able to play the oldest versions (killer instinct 1 and 2)

When you see the introduction video, it shows that you can play then, but I cannot find where I can choose to play the oldest versions.

Does anyone now where can I find then in the definitive edition to play?

I would recommend going directly into your Windows 10 Xbox App and searching for "Killer Instinct Definitive Edition"; then you do not have to worry if it will or will not work since you're buying it through your PC and it is digital.

Try this, i have the same issue and with this finally the game work for me.

Thanks for the immediate reply. You may reset the Windows Store Cache. Kindly perform the following steps:

Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

Type WSReset.exe and click Ok.

The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

After its completion, restart your computer to sync all changes made. Then, uninstall and reinstall your game and check if the same instance occurs.

Keep us in the loop with the results after performing the solutions provided.

In order to download Killer Instinct: Season 3 for free, you would need to own Killer Instinct: Supreme Edition. Killer Instinct: Ultra Edition does not include Season 3 fighters. For further information, including links for each edition, please check out

I apologize for any confusion, and it's possible that the add-ons section is not available in the Microsoft Store for Killer Instinct Definitive Edition. If that's the case, then the DLC should automatically be installed when you install the Definitive Edition.

Regarding the comment in the review you mentioned, owning an Xbox console is not required to access the DLC for Killer Instinct Definitive Edition on a Windows 11 PC. The game and its DLC should be fully playable on your MSI Raider GE76 laptop.
