Killer Instinct Community Fund

Yep, the developers at Microsoft and Iron Galaxy are making 1 hell of a push to sell Killer Instinct and get the game's name out there and they're doing it with the help of their own community, which has officially exploded with this announcement.

is Killer Instinct worth it?

Killer Instinct is the best fighting game you can find on either consoles imo. Its def worth investing in and the community for it is great

The community fund seems like a really cool idea. I already have Shadow Jago, but having his unique move set would be awesome.

I will buy some KI Coins to help out.

 

Just a wild idea but maybe MS could stop trying to push a Sequel that only the rabids wanted and stop losing IP's like SF?

 

And GG where are you seeing news about Iron Galaxy and Microsoft selling KI?

Here is my concern... Killer Instinct has been gone for so long, that if it wasn't for Microsoft it would still be in the abyss of forgotten games.

And frankly, I don't think anyone can take care of it like Microsoft Studios.

Perhaps Activision... but then again...

 

Here's an even better idea.

Make the game. Put it on a disc and sell it to people so they can play it, fall in love with it and enjoy it instead of pushing this offensive "App Store Shop" model that has no place on a next gen console.

Could have been "the" fighter of this gen if it hadn't been for Publisher Greed.

 

I hope for a season 3 and more....

For me,the way Killer Instinct is made;free to play,characters rotation,is a good way for everybody to give it a try and got different choices and freedom to spend money on it (or not).

Supporting it,with updates,new "season",is a good way to keep it alive,bring new stuffs at a very low price.

Killer Instinct is the only Xbox one game that i got since november 2013 and still play it.

If Killer Instinct was like any other buy to play + DLC,it will be already forgotten and not on my hard drive anymore.Just expecting a sequel and spend again $60 + $30......

 

I understand both what they are doing, and how consumers such as Az feel. As I also have mixed feelings. I think they should release more than 1 fighter per month. The seasons need to be shorter. But I understand how they are trying to keep people interested
in the game longer than a a month.

With this short attention span society they need to have more balance.

I don't believe it is publisher greed, I believe it is a way to keep people interested. At the same time they have already lost my attention after TJ Combo released. They are taking to long in my opinion

So has anybody picked this up yet? I have and I've been enjoying Shadow Jago, S. Jago, or Shago (as numerous people seem to be calling him).

 

Already got Shadow Jago since game launch.

(maybe i should complain that now everybody can have it,such a shame)
