    Kids are unable to log in on xbox one


    Hi,

    Using my own profile I am able to successfully log in to xbox live on my xbox one.

    My gamertag is

    However, when I try to sign in either of my kids (who are linked to my account) I get the following error

    "Fix this on the web"

    "There's a problem with your account, Fix it at account.live.com, then come back to sign in"

    When I log onto account.live.com nothing appears to be amiss.

    I tried removing/adding my kids account on xbox one, but at the point I try to add them back I get the exact same error again.

    It's very frustrating that I pay money for console, controllers and a service only for it not to work.

    Can anyone recommend how to fix this?

    Hello - The way to make this work is to have one kid play on the home Xbox. You can then log into the second Xbox on with your profile and the second kid can then log into that second Xbox will be able to access the Family share features.

    While the second kid is on the second Xbox you can't log into your profile on the home Xbox or it will stop the Second xbox from using the features.

    We have a similar setup and use this all the time.

    Solution found for my case...link below recommended checking the iOS privacy settings. This was my problem. In the Settings app, click Privacy, Local Network, "Minecraft" app selector on.

    Not sure how, but one of my kid's iPads had this turned off. Seems unlikely this occurred after logging the kids into xbox accounts in the minecraft app, but have no other explanation.

    Help setting up 2nd xbox.

    You need to make 1 of them your home console. This one will have your profile and your kids profile. On the second xbox you just need your profile.

    Your kid will log in on the home console and you will log into the second one. This will allow you to both play together.

    I have this setup in my house and it works great. Happy gaming
