Kid got account banned

I got an email saying that my account was banned for one day. \

My kids are the ones that use it and they use my account.

My daughter was playing at the time the ban went into effect so I really need to know what was said or done to get the account banned so I can punish her appropriately.

How can I get a transcript of what was said/done that caused the ban?

My son was banned permanently because of an attack on his account!!!!!!!!!

I want him to be unbanned and the kids who mass reported him to be banned. His account was also breached and he got banned twice.

 

For information about the suspension, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com but there is no way to get a transcript. Investigations can also take time, so suspensions are not necessarily given the same day the action took place.

 

Hi, the email should have provided a list of possible reasons for the suspension but there is no way to find out exactly what was the cause other than asking whoever was using the account at the time. It is also worth noting that suspensions can take some
time to be given out so it may be the incident occured at a time someone other than who you suspect was using the account.

You cant even appeal the suspension as it is only for 24hrs.

 

No one will ever tell you what...when or where about the ban it has some privacy behind it for the user who made the claim...

 

You should receive an email addressed to the email account associated with the gamer tag that received the ban/suspension from Microsoft/Xbox telling you why you were banned. To check your enforcement history, you can go here: https://enforcement.xbox.com/Enforcement/ShowEnforcements
just make sure to sign in with the affected account.

 

Thanks for the feedback. Since she admitted it but is tight lipped about specifics, I'll just have to assume the worst and punish her accordingly.

May i suggest you open up child accounts for the kids.

It will prevent possible future bans on your account.

 

May I recommend you create a separate account for each of your kids and add them to your adult's account family?

You can create free Microsoft Accounts for your kids at
https://www.outlook.com in case the kids don't have an email yet.

When they play on a console your account has set as his "Home Console", they can all benefit from your account's Gold membership and your owned games without problems.

When creating their accounts, make sure you enter their birthdates properly, so the system can use that information to properly create child accounts for them, that need an adult parent account, and also allows them to become an adult account, when they
reach legal adult age according to that birthdate.

When you have added your kids on
https://account.microsoft.com/family you can then put restrictions on these child accounts to your liking.

You can prevent them from talking online at all, limit their purchase ability and so on. While restrictions could be set on your adult account as well, since it's an adult account, anyone using that account can revert these restrictions again.

Also be aware, that if your kids continue to use your account (and abuse it), it might cause you to lose the ability to use Skype as well, as communications suspensions also extend to other Microsoft services.

Therefore I can't stress this enough: Create separate accounts for your kids. Do NOT let them use your own adult account!

Or at least be aware of the consequences. You already found out about the communications suspension. I just don't want you to be the next parent that has a $2000 bill on their credit card, because the kid bought Fortnite stuff on the parent's account.

You need to go to the enforcement and look what she did wrong and because it's only a 24 hour ban you can not apply for a case review
