Kicked offline. Do something about it?

Recently while playing "ghost" a player got aggressive at me because he has anger problems and kicked me offline. I know this because he told me he was going to and I'd have no internet for 12 hours apparently. 3 hours and still no internet. I know I've
been kicked offline because I called my internet provider, unfortunately my dad's not awake at this time and I don't have access because I'm not on the internet providers list of people who can can call up. What they did tell me is. "I am offline and there
is no downs in my area" so, I have been confirmed I have been kicked offline. There is not even a dial tone which is a major issue to us and is highly illegal what this person did to me. His games tag is "[Mod Removed]" I want to know what
I can do and I want something done about this. We pay to play and we can't because some random has a tantrum and boots us offline. I'm sick of this. I feel like contacting police and making this a formal complaint but I am hoping you will do something about
it. Thanks.

A friend joined my party and his friend joined and my friend kicked hime from the party so he kicked me offline after joining again... His gt is

it's more like he kicked you from the game as he was the host or something

 

Nobody can kick you offline. They have no control over your service. Try resetting your modem/router by shutting down the computer and unplugging for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug back in power back on and see if you can connect to Live.

 

Uh yes they can. It's called host boot or DDOSS. You get the persons IP address and you send spam to their router and fry it. If you're a moderator of work for Xbox you should know this. If you dint work for Xbox please don't bother replying.

 

Okay well they might be the host of a lobby and kick you out of the game but they can't kick you offline. Also I do not work for Microsoft but I am experienced when it comes to I.T.

 

You would need to file a complaint on them via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate the issue and they can take appropriate action from there. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums. Otherwise, you will need to have
your dad contact your ISP so they can help you prevent it in the future.

Maxium - DoS attacks do knock you offline. It is possible. You may want to read this article -

Thanks Smutches! Will do. I guess I've never fallen victim to any kind of cyber attacks before, but I often get kicked from lobbies due to the host leaving and the game migrating to another host. That's about all that's happened to me. I never got kicked
offline before though. Learn something new everyday. Thanks for the knowledge!
