Kicked off xbox live while gaming and controller disconnects at the same time

Hey all, I have been trying to fix this issue for a little while now and am in need of some help.

Every time I go to try and play a game online with friends after about 10 minutes or so i will get kicked off of xbox live and my controller will disconnect at the same exact time. After a few minutes go by and i get reconnected, the same thing will happen
again and again. I figured it may be an issue with my router and have; unplugged my router/plugged it back in, reset my router; set up exact ports for my xbox; etc. I can't seem to find a fix for this issue and it is becoming very frustrating. Any help
would be awesome! Thank you!

Xbox one, controller disconnects then xbox live disconnects

My xbox has started having a major problem. Fairly regularly while i am playing a game online, first my controller will disconnect but reconnect within 10 seconds, but then very shortly after i will lose connection to xbox live causing me to be kicked out
off the game.

It isnt the controller as i have tried multiple controllers and had the same issue. Also it isnt my internet that is dropping as i can use it on other devices while xbox live disconnects.

Just to be clear, i have never had just the xbox live disconnection, the controller goes first every time.

Anyone had this? Any ideas?

 

Xbox live disconnects same time every night

I will be watching Netflix or playing a game and Xbox live disconnects at the same time every night. I have concluded that it is not the wifi or Netflix service interuption. It is Microsoft and I would like to know why I pay to be kicked off of Xbox Live?

since the controller disconnects too I would advise these steps

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Also check if there is an update available for that controller via the settings.

One thing worth to try if it's still happening, what happens when you connect the controller to the console via micro usb cable.

I'd assume your console is connected wirelessly to your WiFi. Since you say the network as well as the controller are disconnecting, I'd guesstimate, that you have a device that also uses the 2.4GHz frequency like the controllers and the WiFi, that interferes
with your WiFi and wireless controller connection.

It might be a badly shielded microwave oven, or a wireless baby monitor, or a garage door opener remote or one of those remotely switchable power outlets that might cause interference that causes your controller and WiFi to get disconnected.

multiplayer test and let us know if there is an error code.

Press the Xbox Button (Don't hold it) > System > Settings > Network > Network Settings > Test Multiplayer Connection

Hello everyone soooo I have still been losing my mind with this issue. My xbox one isn't that old. I have uncovered some new answers though. So I did go out and buy a new router and it still does the same thing. My xbox is on the second floor of my
house with my router being on the first floor. I have never had any issues until now. Once I get booted off of my xbox's wifi and the controller disconnects at the same time my internet is still active and fine on every other device on the second floor of
my house. So I decided to bring my xbox one close to the router to see if that changes anything. Nope, still the same issue. so I hardwired it to my xbox and then my internet was excellent had no issues what so ever except the controller would still disconnect
but my online game would still be going. So I ended up hardwiring my controller as well and tada everything works perfectly now. so does this mean that there is an issue with my xbox one's wireless adapter or have some faulty hardware or something? Thank
you for your time and responses. Also, tomorrow I am going to be opening the xbox one and clean out any possible dust inside.

 

DO NOT OPEN YOUR XBOX CONSOLE!!!

If you open your console, even if it's out of warranty, then Microsoft will refuse to repair your console!

If you suspect a hardware failure with the wireless hardware, simply sign up your console for a repair pickup at
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com and have Microsoft repair it.

If the console is out of warranty, the page will show you a price how much it'll cost to service the console. You can then still decide if you want to repair the console.

 

I see, im not sure what I want to do. I did find one other answer from someone that seemed to have the same problem. They said to do a factory reset, but that will delete everything. I know I can transfer all my data to another hard drive but that seems
like a huge pain and I don't want to potentially lose anything. Thank you for your response.

 

It does not seem to be a network issue because everything else runs perfectly on wifi. Once I hard wire the controller and internet it runs perfectly but is a pain because I usually need to run it on wifi. I have done a power cycle and a full shut down
both with no solutions. I believe the xbox one's internal adapter for wifi and controller has become faulty.

 

I have run both a multiplayer connection and network connection test for the wifi and both say everything is working properly but that is not the case at all.
