KI Gold appearing and disappearing

    KI Gold appearing and disappearing


    I have purchased the game for Xbox One last month and I'm having this Gold issue.

    I'm suspecting there's something wrong with the database server which can't sync with my data and subsequently can't read my Gold status. But that's only my speculation. There's another twist I would like to share with you regarding this matter.

    Yesterday I performed a full delete of my data and progress of the game, both locally and remotely, hoping that it could get fixed. Unfortunately, it didn't and I just lost my progress, which fortunately wasn't so big. After starting a new game in Shadow Lords,
    I played for awhile and then shut it down and went away. Today I run the game again and at the screen that syncs the DLCs I heard a clicking sound, which I suppose confirms something, about 5-6 times.

    Continuing to the store I found out that my Gold was finally there! Happy now that it finally got fixed, I went on to resume my Shadow Lords game, but I discovered that all the progress I had made the previous day was gone.Considering the fact that I got my
    KI Gold back, that didn't bother me so I started a new game of SL again. After playing for about 15-20 min, I restarted the console for some reason and to my great frustration, after re-logging in the game, I found out that a)my KI Gold was once again 0 and
    b)the previous progress I had made the day before was there instead of the new one.

    I can only assume what the problem might be but I hope I gave you enough information so you can debug and fix it permanently. I'm not in a rush regarding my ingame gold, but I would like to see it getting fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

    KI is my favorite fighting game and I still have my N64 and KI Gold. I can't wait to play it again.

    Killer Instinct Ultimate Edition

    I didn't care for it at all. I can't be too critical of it because it was something resembling free (well free to start), but it didn't have that KI vibe from the original series to me. It did come off as its own thing and a number were happy just see KI back in name and somewhat familiar from appearances.

    I didn't care for the microtransactions either.

    Sorry to hear your KI Gold is missing on the Xbox One version. If the correct amount is showing while you're signed into the PC version, let's start by uninstalling and reinstalling Killer Instinct by following these specific steps.

    • Uninstall Killer Instinct
    • Power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the power button for 10 seconds, or until the console fully powers down.
    • Power back on and install Killer Instinct.

    Hi PALAND1NPR1ME,

    Try to close the game pressing menu button on the game> Go to settings> Power & startup> Turn off or restart> Restart now. After restart your console verify if now the KI gold appears.

    Under bundles in the ki store it clearly stats that you recieve characters vip double xp, retro costumes, accessories and 18000 KI Gold. There is NO mention of pre order bonus at all. So i would like the KI gold or my money refunded as i have not recieved
    what i have clearly paid for. I also purchased the game the moment it released here in australia.
