Keyboard problems on Xbox Series S

Hey! I recently got a new keyboard and mouse for my Xbox series S, the bran is HAVIT. It’s been working fine for about two days but suddenly it’s stopped working and only the mouse lights up. When the keyboard’s plugged in it slows down my Xbox and causes the entire Xbox to lag (slow loading times, friends list not loading properly, controller is constantly disconnecting even though it has a full battery, taking forever to turn off, not loading games.) At first I thought it was an internet connection but I was wrong.

In summary the keyboard slows down the connection and performance of the console making it impossible to play on the console. I’ve checked the internet and tried every solution but I can’t find anyone with the same situation as me.

Good morning! As long as you are talking about the Series S or X, then according to sources yes, almost any Keyboard or Mouse will be suitable. Please see below:

"The USB transmitters that ship alongside wireless gaming mice and keyboards handle all the data communication between your peripherals and your console. This means that almost all wireless keyboards and mice will work with Xbox Series X and S."

Of course, that being said, devices made specifically for the system will have more finely tuned compatibility.

Yes, you can play Rainbow Six Siege with a keyboard and mouse on Xbox Series X/S.

Connect your keyboard and mouse to your Xbox Series X/S console. You can connect them directly to the console's USB ports or use a USB hub if you need more ports.

Once your keyboard and mouse are connected, start up Rainbow Six Siege on your Xbox Series X/S.

In the game's main menu, navigate to the Options menu.

From the Options menu, select the Controls tab.

From the Controls tab, select the Controller Type option.

Change the Controller Type to Mouse and Keyboard.

Customize your keyboard and mouse settings to your liking.

Please try this, but before disconnect all the USB accessories connected to the console :

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
