Keyboard problem

I can turn on my Xbox one and I can do everything and stuff but I can’t sign in because the keyboard will not show up, but I can still type, like it’s there but it’s invisible, so I can’t sign in. There is also a grey bar stuck in the top left corner like
when you speak through a mic and it comes up with your gamertag expect it’s stuck there and doesn’t have any words in it, it just won’t go away. Thanks.

Completely Unplayable. Can't get past first screen.

Problem solved by Microsoft tech support! My usb keyboard was the problem. After I unplugged it an on screen keyboard popped up.

virtual keyboard problem

Try doing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test the results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

Hi

Can you please try pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds and once the console has shut down wait for a couple of minutes then try powering the console back up and hopefully the on screen screen keyboard will be
back again.

Are you able to navigate on your main dashboard using the keyboard though? Does it function when not on the game? Because if not, then there must be a problem with the keyboard itself. Try using a different keyboard as well to isolate the problem.

This could be any issue from regional settings, to your keyboard having an issue, trying hooking the keyboard to an actual PC and try doing it. If it does the same thing than it's the keyboard, if not than its the xbox.
