    "Keyboard" not working on new XBOX?


    I was just asked to enter my password to enter this forum post, which I offer as evidence that I know my password.

    I just bought an Xbox One and loaded it up. When prompted to enter my password, it won't accept it. When, in frustration, I succumbed to hitting "I forgot my password", it also wouldn't recognize the text I was entering (matching those random letters to
    prove I'm not a robot).

    Help? Would really like to be playing online right now.

    @ sign not working on virtual keyboard

    hey my little brother can't log into his Xbox because when he types the @ sign it changes to a smiley face ( no idea how he's done this) I've searched everywhere and can't see a fix.

    Just realised that my wireless keyboard is working on xbox one

    I didnt know that the xbox one supports keyboards. If the box is turned on and i plug in the wireless dongle keyboard is not working.

    But if the dongle is plugged in and then i start the xbox one its working, nice for skype chat and messages apart from using SmartGlass.

    Solved. Likely resulting from a controller update. Would have been nice to know that prior to the wait.

    Also, support is a fail. No live chat? Everything ends up at the dead end screen. Disappointing from Microsoft.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. You can connect the keyboard and mouse to the console. As to what is able to be done is limited as it is still new. A keyboard will work with Edge, a mouse will not as there is a built in cursor already
    on Edge. Here is a
