    Keyboard Mouse Support?


    Keyboard and mouse support is already here, technically. The sole factor is whether or not the game developer chooses to implement it in their game, though many are hesitant for the multiplayer game balance issues with the mouse having more accuracy.

    I'm not sure what you're hearing, but I haven't heard any new rumors about the support.

    There have been some misleading answers in this thread, so I'm going to recap the current state of mouse and keyboard support before locking this thread:

    • You can use a keyboard on the dashboard for navigation, as well as text entry where supported;
    • You can use a USB keyboard, or a wireless keyboard where it is paired with a USB dongle you can connect to the console. Bluetooth, or other non-dongle wireless connections, are not supported;
    • Minecraft is currently the only game with mouse and keyboard support;
    • There are no announced plans to roll this out more widely;
    • If you want to support the idea of mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, you can do so on
      the Xbox Feedback site;
    • Using any kind of adaptors or other equipment that allows the use of a mouse and keyboard in games that do not expressly support it is against the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and Terms of Use and puts you at risk of a suspension or even a ban from either
      the game, the Xbox Live service, or both.

    And with that, I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread.

    Currently there is keyboard and mouse support, but its up to developers of those games to add the option to allow it. Warface is not one of them that allows keyboard and mouse support yet. I can see that it is an upcoming title for keyboard and mouse support

    Ok, so firstly you should be able to just plug in the mouse/keyboard USB and use it (if they are supported) you shouln't need an adapter to use mouse and keyboard on Xbox One since mouse and keyboard support has been added.

    Secondly I'm not aware of black ops 4 supporting mouse and keyboard use on console, so if the developers have not enabled mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, then using an adapter to be able to use your mouse and keyboard will be considered cheating.

    Keyboard and mouse support is done by the developer of the games not Microsoft. It would be best to check if the game supports keyboard and mouse.

    Any USB mouse and keyboard will work. Remember not all games support mouse and keyboard.
