    Keyboard Lag on Xbox Games Pass PC


    Currently having issues with the Xbox Games Pass app on PC where I get severe input lag from just my keyboard if I play the game in fullscreen mode. I do not have this issue on any other platform such as Steam, Battle.net etc and it happens consistently across all games on the Xbox app.

    Please let me know if any one has a solution that doesnt involve playing the game in windowed mode.

    Keyboard input lag only in Fullscreen mode and only on xbox game pass app.

    I saw some comments that disabling PowerToys might solve the problem.
    Thanks a million Samy! Strange that PowerToys only causes an issue with the Xbox app and not other game platforms especially since Microsoft develop both. Just one of these things I guess

    Hi,

    I had already checked that thread before posting. This issue with reinstalling windows is that, from what I can find online, you need to do Reset this PC > Keep my Files which will remove all my apps and programs, which could take hours to reinstall all of them and redo the preferences as this include Games and Software I use for my job.

    If there is an alternative, I'd like to hear it. If not, then I guess I'm just stuck in Windowed Mode when using the Game Pass.
