Keyboard issue

In order to isolate a bit more the issue and determine if it's a game issue or similar.

Please try using the keyboard with a different game (Minecraft for example) and tell me if the issue persists.

If yes, is your Xbox console language set to French?

If that's the case, please change it temporarily to English - Canada

Open Settings > System > Language & Location (or similar) > Language > Select English

Let me know the resolution, I'll be waiting for your reply

Please open the on-screen keyboard:

- Go to Start > Search and click on on-screen keyboard.

- Then, please open Minecraft in window mode (not fullscreen) and see if you can play it using the on-screen keyboard.

This will let us know if this is an issue with Minecraft not recognizing keyboard inputs or if this is an issue with your particular keyboard (maybe the driver).

This could be any issue from regional settings, to your keyboard having an issue, trying hooking the keyboard to an actual PC and try doing it. If it does the same thing than it's the keyboard, if not than its the xbox.

Absolutely, Kevin. It means that there is no issue with the game itself. It can be with the PC driver for mouse or keyboard or the mouse or keyboard itself that is the issue.

It's possible an issue with your keyboard itself. Try to use a different keyboard and see if that issue won't persist.

You may also reinstall the keyboard driver instead. Click on Start menu > Search "Device manager" > Find the keyboard driver, uninstall. Then restart your PC.
