Keyboard Hot Keys for Xbox One

I just started using a wireless keyboard recently. A Logitech k750 for reference.

I have discovered that ESC and Enter act like the B and A buttons accordingly. And the up and down arrows, etc, act like the DPAD with directional movement.

I am curious, are there hot keys for the X and Y button, menu, view, LB, and RB buttons?

I would like to know because as it stands right now I have to turn on my controller to hit Y to access a search option within some apps. This is counter-intuitive to me, because at the point I should just do everything with my controller. It doesn't make
sense to me to pick up the controller, turn it on, hit Y, put it down, type what I want to search.

I am curious as to how I would access the Xbox OneGuide using a keyboard. There has to be a list of hot keys somewhere. I tried asking the Twitter support, but apparently there is no such thing as a hot keys list for keyboards. They told me to leave feedback
using the new website, but I wanted to check the forums first in case anyone has a list of hot keys whether from another gamer or an Xbox employee.

Xbox One USB Keyboard Support

arrow keys for moving about the options and the enter button to select. HOWEVER, I have yet to figure out how to go back with the keyboard. My apartment walls are thin, so yelling at my Kinect is out of the question. Hand gestures are still lacking and flawed
in my low light conditions. Using the controller wastes that battery and becomes a hassle to use more than one controller.

Tl;dr i would personally love a hot key list for the keyboard, a back button, maybe customizable keys. Makes for easier browsing of Netflix, YouTube, and tv. Maybe personal media... one day?

how to control an xbox controller with a pc

Hello,

i wanted to convert my keyboard keys for a touch on my Xbox one controller. I can wire it up, but on google, there is no software or macro i find. I'm lost.

This is not something I have seen any information on. You may be best off just trying different keys and seeing what works.

The only issue I've ever had with the Hot Key (D-Pad or otherwise) is Equipping two like Items. For example 2 Daedric Daggers wont both Hot Key (or Favorite). If you Hot Key one the other is seen as a different Item? Basically,
it's open the menu for dual-wielding.

Xbox One always worked with a USB keyboard. The February update enabled hot-plugging. Prior to that it had to be plugged in while the console was off (not just low power mode).

As noted, though, SmartGlass fulfills the role that the Chatpad on the 360 had, should that be the "keyboard" one is inquiring about.

Need For Speed Payback on Xbox One as far as I know does not support Keyboard and Mouse which will be why there is no key for Nitro. the fact that other keys work does surprise me.
