Keyboard glitch?

i have this issue too. kinda of a bummer.

This started a few updates after the NXOE update was released as KenH 2k4 mentioned smartglass does resolve the keyboard being stuck but you'll need to restart the console. I would assume that Xbox employees are aware of it but doesn't ensure that it'll
be fixed. I'd keep an eye on the patch notes if they do get released!

Hey there. It seems like this is an issue that affects some people, and there isn't a fix for it at this time. It seems like it's an issue with one of the most recent updates. At this time, all you can do is wait for them to fix it in a future update. You
can use SmartGlass to finish whatever it is you're typing at the time, but you will still have to reset the console after you're done, from what others are saying.

like day one or two from launch day I was able to use the Keyboard & Mouse on the game which I really loved but I just came back to it and couldn't use it anymore and was confused. so was keyboard support never a thing and I ran into a glitch?

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
