Keyboard and mouse support updates

Just wondering if there is any news on this? I would like to play some shooters, but I can't bring myself to play with a controller, love the controller for other genres, but when I play a shooter with a controller my aim is way off now after playing on
pc for so long.

Can a mouse and keyboard be used on Xbox One?

A mouse is not supported at all as of 12/3/15 and keyboard support is limited but more support was added to the dashboard as of the November update to NXOE. Game support and app support for keyboard will be based on the specific game or app and what each
developer has decided to offer.

There are ideas around bringing full mouse and keyboard support to the system but I've not seen where any plans are confirmed that mouse and keyboard support would exist in games.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive mouse and keyboard support

why microsoft didn't accept the mouse and keyboard support as sony did on playstation 3 ?

i mean counter strike is a game that should be played with mouse are you crazy microsoft ?

the mouse and keyboard support and the update is something that the cs comunity of xbox still waiting since october 2012

Yes. Games now can have mouse/keyboard support. Only if the developer enables it though.

Currently there is keyboard and mouse support, but its up to developers of those games to add the option to allow it. Warface is not one of them that allows keyboard and mouse support yet. I can see that it is an upcoming title for keyboard and mouse support

Ok, so firstly you should be able to just plug in the mouse/keyboard USB and use it (if they are supported) you shouln't need an adapter to use mouse and keyboard on Xbox One since mouse and keyboard support has been added.

Secondly I'm not aware of black ops 4 supporting mouse and keyboard use on console, so if the developers have not enabled mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, then using an adapter to be able to use your mouse and keyboard will be considered cheating.

Thanks for bringing question to the forums. The mouse/keyboard support is not solely from Microsoft the developers also are involved in approving this.

The article for mouse and keyboard will show any updates to the status as stated Warframe will be the first game to have the support. Here is a quote from the site about developers.

With this new input support at the platform level, developers can now build mouse and keyboard support in their games
if and how they choose.
