Keyboard and Mouse in Fortnite on Xbox One.

Hello. I have problem with mouse in Fornite. I installed update from Xbox Insider Hub, because I want to play Fortnite by mouse and keyboard. Everything went good. When I turned on Fortnite, put my usb wires keyboard and mouse to USB port and when I joined
to the match, the mouse moves were very inaccurate and delayed. I'm angry and i want to resolve this problem. Thanks in advice.

Currently only Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the title) is playable with keyboard and mouse.

All other games, including Fortnite do NOT work with Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox One.

If you want to play Fortnite with Keyboard and Mouse, you can do that on a regular Windows PC.

 

Xbox doesnt allow the use of keyboard and mouse for fortnite

I was looking on youtube about the xbox one fortnite mouse and keyboard capability.. all the videos on the subject said PS4 AND XBOX ONE.. so i went and got myself a keyboard and mouse.. plugged it into my xbox went on fortnite and it didnt work.. so i went
and did more research and found out that it only works on ps4.. Yet they allow keyboard and mouse for minecraft a microsoft owned game.. Just want microsoft to allow the game to be able to use mouse and keyboard

Sorry for the issue with keyboard and mouse. We recommend
power cycle the console leave the mouse and keyboard plugged in. When you power up the console launch Fortnite and try the game. Remember this just came out also, so it might be a little buggy at first.

Go to Keyboard and Mouse settings, and see if they are well calibrated.

I don't think keyboard and mouse support has been added to Fortnite by the developers yet.

 

Be aware, that the keyboard and mouse feature is still being tested, and is therefore not yet released to the public. Only to Insiders through the Insider App.

If you run into trouble with that, please use the Feedback on your console by holding the Xbox button on the controller, and then instead of turning off the console or controller, go to the feedback tile.

Describe your issue, and give feedback that way.

Also, since keyboard and mouse implementation is dependent on the maker of the game, you should also contact Epic Games and provide feedback.

Additionally, try to check Keyboard and Mouse controls in Warframe, and see if the inaccurate movement is game dependent or systemwide for all games.

If it's unusable on both games, mention that in the Feedback app, and on the
Xbox Insiders Reddit.

If only Fortnite is giving you trouble with the mouse controls, provide that feedback to Epic Games.

The users from this forum here can't really help with that issue, as most are not even Xbox Insiders and can't use Insider functions like Keyboard and Mouse in Fortnite.

 

Something that no one has mentioned is to check the surface your mouse is on, as there might be inconsistencies on said surface that could be contributing to or causing these issues.

 

Surface is good, because in the Warframe(another game with mouse nad keyboard support) mouse works well and in the main menu Fortnite mouse works well too, this problem is in the match only.

 

As it is a fairly new feature, it could be a matter of waiting until they work the kinks out.

 

My friends downloaded this same update and it works and only I have problems with this.

I maybe have hight acceleration and i cant disable this.

We recommend just waiting it out and see if any further updates come to improve the performance of mouse, being it works fine in another game, could just be the connection to the game server.

But when i played at my friend's Xbox, everything was well and he didnt have got acceleration , but at my xbox, mouse has got acceleration
