    Keyboard and Mouse/controller conflict


    Hey guys - I am an FPS guy and when I learned that I could use my mouse and keyboard on the xbox, I was stoked. I have been using it in CODMW Warzone and multiplayer and having the same super frustrating occurrence in both. It will play fine for some time,
    but then out of the blue, my xbox will pause me in-game and say "please connect your controller to continue" or something to that extent. I have had several instances where I am in the middle of a fight with an enemy team and this has happened, rendering me
    useless (as if I need any disadvantages HAHA).

    Anyone else having these issues? Both keyboard and mouse are wired into the console directly. Should I be looking at getting a XBOX specific keyboard and mouse? Any way to solve this problem?

    How could or would a game like Age of Empires work on console?

    the original Xbox only came with a controller. the Xbox 360 only came with a controller. the Xbox One comes with a controller. you can't buy an Xbox One with a Keyboard and Mouse.
    in my opinion if they don't sell them with a Keyboard and Mouse they shouldn't have support for Keyboard and Mouse. if you want to use
    Keyboard and Mouse you should play on a PC and not on a console.

    I'm not a big fan of Mouse and Keyboard support for consoles but i don't have a problem with it if games keep Mouse and Keyboard users and Controllers users separate, as Mouse and Keyboard users have a huge clear advantage over Controller users.

    DOUBT!

    The Xbox can't be controlled by keyboard and mouse through the Stream mode at all. While it's possible in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition to use Keyboard and mouse, all other games don't accept keyboard and mouse input at all.

    You might have to try Minecraft, if you can control it via Keyboard and mouse while streaming to your PC.

    Where do you keep your Xbox One?

    my xobox one is beside my wallunit as I can fit that damn beast in it anywhere. Ive had no issues with either my Day 1 or my extra controller.

    Is it maybe a conflict with other wireless devices? wireless keyboard/mouse or something else.

    Unable to get keyboard and Mosue to work in game mode playing Fortnite

    For the following to work you must make the menu selections using your keyboard. If you use the controller to make your menu selections to start the game you will be placed in a room for those with a controller and your keyboard/mouse will be non functional
    to make it fair to other players. To enter the room for keyboard and mouse users the game must be started by selecting the options using the keyboard/mouse. Hope this helps.
