    Keyboard And Controller Not Typing


    My keyboard and controller stopped being able to type about 2 days ago, I turned the console off and back on, hard reset it, unplugged it and then waited 20 minutes and plugged it back in and turned it on, that didn't work, I tried every method I could on
    here but none of them seemed to work, eventually I saw one that said to factory reset the console but keep all the games and apps, I've tried it and it still doesn't work but now I can't even type in the password for my wifi therefore I cannot even use the
    xbox anymore, I really need help with this so any suggestions are really appreciated ( You have to enter your password to start it after factory resetting it )

    Edit: I've since had some luck in being able to type very few words like i and m but I still cannot fix the issue

    Yes it does. It sucks enough typing with a controller on a qwerty keyboard.

    There seems to be a disconnect between the actual feedback of the controller and the keyboard. Try a few suggestions as others have stated. Try turning it on with the xbox controller or by manually pressing the button. This should help.Could be the brand
    of the keyboard. What type of keyboard is it . Is it wireless etc...

    Not really no, for instance you can play warframe with a mouse and keyboard or you can play with a controller, it's just a matter of preference. Also, a lot of people would like to type messages with a keyboard or in a specific instance (like Minecraft's
    "Book an Quill") type chapters or stories WITHOUT using a controller.

    Ill maybe use the keyboard for typing on the xbox, but for gaming it is not for me. Im used to using a controller now. Will feel weird using a keyboard and mouse to game.
