Kerbal Space Program Enhanced - Cannot Open Part Configuration

I am simply following the advice of the Microsoft Customer Service Representative. I purchased the game on my son's behalf and the game doesn't work (cannot even do the first tutorial). I attempted to return it and was told because it is a digital download,
it is final sale.

I was told to visit this forum and solicit help...

It is a non-functional product. I don't think it is remotely appropriate that a non-functional product is not able to be returned. I am just going through the recommended process (which I acknowledge is a fool's errand and easy customer service runaround)

If a product is non-functional and it is continued to be sold in this way it is wholly unethical.

That said, I leave it open in case there is a solution and I can have my 9 year old son enjoy the game he thought he purchased from a reputable dealer.

Thank you for reaching out. In certain circumstances, you are able to return a digital item whether it be a game, DLC, currency, etc. We do have a

Refund Request page with instructions on how to take care of this. Here in the forums we do help out with most game issues, but for something this specific we do recommend hitting up the devs or the community for help. Rather than sending you on a goose
chase through their site, I found they do have a specific email to contact them for help with technical issues/bugs/support support@kerbalspaceprogram.com.
