Keeps disconnecting from party and/or live

For a few days now I have been getting disconnected from parties and/or live. Looking at these forums I see many others are having the same issue(s). I am starting to think its an Xbox error.

THis is what i have tried.

-reset modem and router numerous times

-tried modem only

-reset network to factory default

-deleted profile and recovered

-cleared system cache

-tried opening ports

-basically anything in the guides/tutorials i have found on xbox

-nat is open

-download speed is 96.44 Mbps on average

-upload speed is 10.12 Mbps on average

the people I have been playing with have done the same and we are all having issues

Xbox live party chat on Xbox one

My Xbox Party Chat is not working it keeps disconnecting me from the party does anyone have a solution for this problem i would appreciate it

 

XBOX LIVE DISCONNECTING

Hello everyone,

I Have been having problems from the past month my XBOX keeps

disconnecting from XBOX LIVE and it's really annoying me..

when ever i play a game it just disconnects and my XBOX

party is always lagging and i can hardly play games on XBOX

without being disconnecting ... could someone give me

some help on how to fix this problem.

I have some additional questions before we kick off.

Can you post up the make and model of your router and your modem as well (if this is not a single unit). Can you also tell us if you connect wired, or wireless with your console.

Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?

Do you participate in the Preview Program, with the current preview version: 2.0.17425.0?

My ISP is Shaw Communications

modem is a Cisco DPC3825 (this is bridged, so no wireless on this anymore. my ISP turned off ages ago)

router is a Cisco linksys E4200

I am usually wired but I have tried both ways. just modem only

I am not in the Preview Program. my dashboard is 2.0.17349.0

 

My friends and I have had no issues with anything up until 4 or 5 days ago. We notice being in private chats eliminate a lot of the disconnect issues we were having but might happen

 

Have the same issue on 2 machines, no help now for almost a week. Somebody knows something.

 

Its only my 360 that does this. The xbox one is fine. I am really starting to think it could be who I am connecting to and that it is nothing on my end

The problem seems to be much worse today since xbox said they fixed the issue with connections dropping from live.

This is getting so painful and frustrating from dropping from live and parties its almost to the point i want to dig out the old PS3 and see if they have any issues.

I wonder if people help on here. I post the info on what people ask for and no one gets back to me and I see alot of people with questions that do not get responded to as well.

I am frustrated from trying the same things over and over trying to fix things. You can only do what xbox support pages tell you do so many times and that is why most come on here cause they have tried that and its not working then most are sent back to
look at the same stuff again.

 

I know its just the xbox now. I have got my hands on another one and no issues at all.

could it be a sign of a network issue within the xbox itself?

 

May I ask, do you receive an error code when you're being disconnected from Live?

When you tried with the second console, connected to your network, and then Live, did you use your profile to sign in to Live?

that your DPC3825 is still operating in bridge mode, as a layer 2 networking device.

Appreciate if you can try the following steps up front and let us know how that goes.

If you haven't already, try delete a portion of the current update and reinstall the update. Here's how:

Go to System Settings and select Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

If you're still stuck, try and
safely remove the hard drive and use a USB flash drive (configured for use with the Xbox 360), as an alternative storage device.
