Keep randomly getting disconnected!!

Hi, pretty much all my games when I play then online I get disconnected from Xbox live after like 5 minutes of play, but the annoying factor is that I have no lag when I play the games and I don't struggle to find a game to get in, I done the diagnostics
test from my Xbox one to my internet and my results are better than my mates but they don't end up being kicked, what is the problem??

I have a Belkin also...please read...I no longer have the randomly kicked out problem.

For those of you who are patiently working thru the "tasks" they are giving you... "xbox is logging me out while watching Netflix and Epic (or others I am sure)...

They never resolved this issue for me. Four chats and deleting and re-downloading everything, cache, files, profiles, EVERYTHING!

After three months I went to GameStop, bought a new Xbox 360 and sold them that one for $53.

I wish you all the luck. If they tell you they will "escalate" the issue to a manager you best be warned..."I did NOT receive the email they claimed to send me (twice) and when the Chat Rep pasted it into my fourth chat attempt to get this resolved, all
the email said was to try deleting the profile, calling Netflix and blaming the ISP.

I TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY...I have two xboxes so the problem is NOT with Netflix or my ISP!

check your nat under network settings, you can try a full shut down and restart to see if that helps, also are you wired or wireless, if the latter then try wired.

Is it possible to try wired for a day and see if you get the same issue, if you do it could be a port issue or an isp issue.

If it does turn out to be a port issue, and that is a long shot you can try here for the port numbers and you will need to find your router instructions to setup port forwarding, but as you say you have open nat it may not be that, worth a shot and still
have issues then like I say try wired for a while to see if you have the same issue, if you do then it is time to contact the isp.

If you tried using a different ethernet cable to no avail, what about a connection test on a different network (at a friends house) to see if the problem persists.

I've tried both, the same thing happens. At the moment I have the Xbox wired into the Netgear router. I wonder if there's some setting I could make on the router to make it stop happening

The SMC is definitely better... but maybe we have a non-modem problem as well. I'd start by clearing the system cache (it's just temporary files plus game updates, automatically reloaded) by:

1) Please do Settings | System Settings | Storage

2) Move over any hard drive or memory unit (not the Cloud) & press (Y) on your controller & pick Clear System Cache.

3) When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, choose Yes.

4) Repeat that twice more

* Re-download *

5) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button

6) Select Download Profile (and if you don't see it, press the blue X button to make sure you're not signed in) and proceed with Profile Download.

7) Enter the Microsoft Account addresse for your Xbox LIVE gamertag when asked.

8) Enter the password for the Microsoft Account.

8A) If your account is an Xbox LIVE child account, the parent’s Windows Live ID & password is required as well to download your profile.

9) Pick the storage device for your profile (choose Hard Drive if you have one, or Memory Unit if you don't have a Hard Drive).

10) When the download completes you will be asked if you want the console to remember your password. If it's your home console, I'd say yes, otherwise I'd think carefully about leaving my profile unprotected on somebody else's Xbox!

11) Sign in, and retry.
