Keep losing my functions on my controllers while in wireless mode.

Hey try going through the options in this link https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/controllers/wireless-controller-solution the major one I find is that your controller Firmware is out of date. You can update by plugging in controller direct to your
Xbox then go through the settings menu, kinect and devices devices and accessories then check firmware on controller and update via there. There is a guide in that link how to do it exactly if you select the my controller won't connect option then yes to works
when plugged in let me know how you get on!?

this could be caused by interference from other electronic/electrical devices.

Thanks for posting here on the Xbox forums. Do you have your console plugged into a surge protector, or directly into the wall? I have see cases of these types of issues coming from the console not receiving enough power. This usually happens because of
the outlet it is plugged into.

For your controller,
try updating it to the latest firmware

Thats the weird part, the signal from wi-fi and connection to the router keeps the same, it justs lose the connection to the internet.

In AUTO mode it loses the IP address and DHCP error appears and in static mode it just loses the internet connection. But the connection to the router, the Wireless keeps the same.

i will test it on my brother in law's xbox one to see if it happens as on my one.

Same issue here. No controller to power off console functionality in Instant-On mode. Works fine in Power-saving mode. Sucks because I like to keep the instant-on enabled for background downloads and system updates. It does appear that the July (1407)
update is the culprit. However, my controllers have been disconnecting and wonky since I've owned this thing. Very bad when I'm standing in the middle of a multiplayer game of Battlefield 4 and controller drops sync randomly. Gameplay dies and chat to friends
die while the controller tries to get itself together. It also appears that battery level decreases affects the connection that the wireless controller has with the console.
