    Keep losing connection when playing the newer Gears of Wars games


    So recently i got both gow4 and 5, finished the campaign nicely but when i tried to play online multiplayer (mostly horde) i ran up to the problem of losing connection every single time. It starts normal but then the game loses connection (bots and enemies
    keep moving forward without doing nothing) and it usually stays that way until im kicked.

    I tried many things already: Ports, MAC adress, they didn't work. I realized that my internet is doing this but i still have no idea how to make my internet connect properly to the servers or whatever. This only happens with these two games and i can't figure
    out why, specially when it's specifically these two.

    i have the same problem,because my gears of war 2 keeps freezing up when i hit the start button and when i was connecting to gears of war 2 it froze i tried everything and it didn't work don't know what to do

    When was the most recent time you have played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One while to connected to Xbox Live? Keep in mind that you will need to play online before Dec. 31st, 2015! :)

    Modern Warfare 3 = Same Engine Since Call of Duty 2

    Gears of War has used the same engine since the first game....games reuse their own engines. That's how they work. There is no need to go and develop a completely new engine for every installment of the game. Especially when they modified the series after
    Call of Duty 3 and the newer games don't play much like the earlier games.

    This has been happening to me on Gears of War 3, and it's also been happening on Gears of War 2. I can play by myself fine, but when I try to split-screen with my girlfriend, it freezes constantly. They had BETTER find a fix for this without having to lose
    progress or stats.

    Yea, and Gears of War Judgement is coming out this year, so they'll move to the newer GoW.
