    Keep lagging out of matches and servers and all games


    I’ve had the Xbox one s for almost a year now. And for a couple of months, I’ve been lagging out of games. I mostly play Siege so at first I thought it was just the connection to the Ubi servers. But it also happens to me in Overwatch and even in GTA as
    well. My original xbone never did that. I tried my internet connection but we recently upgraded and it’s still happening. My Xbox is in the preview program (in case that contributes to the problem or not). Has anyone else have this problem? Help!

    Host migration ????

    I've never had a host migration until today. Game is lagging.

    Earlier today in the middle of a match I was booted out to the desk top screen. Maybe dedi servers down?

    Keep lagging out of Xbox Live parties and games

    If you have a firewall or network hardware, such as a router, you might need to make a configuration change in order for your PC or Xbox 360 console to communicate with Xbox Live. This configuration change is sometimes called “opening ports” or "port forwarding."

    Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Note If you cannot chat with someone using Video Kinect, you might need to open port 1863 (UDP and TCP).

    there is no hosting with servers. xbl doesn't use servers for most games. if someone lags in a server match they will appear to stop moving most of the time and do nothing

    if you were to play against me and I lagged in a game where a server runs it, if i start lagging I'l probably be standing in place, you shoot and kill me. i lag, i lose. even if 99% of the people lag out, you will be able to play just fine.

    dude me and 4 of my xbox live friends just went through the same thing. we'll be gaming on cod:eek:b2 then someone lags out at the beginning or half way through or we all get kicked into our own parties and out of the match or we all get kicked from the party
    and strat to xbox dashboard. i just keep getting 'error with cod:bo2 servers'. WHY?!?!?!?!?

    Probably another thread about laggin but...

    So many people don't use the server browser. I can't figure out why. It is the best tool you could ask for, for finding lag free, local, full matches. There is no reason to use quick match at all.

    ^^This has been my problem with lag. Getting in a room with a server in Mexico or France will always make you lag. I NEVER win a gnasher shootout and they tend to run through my bullets to shotgun me when I'm in an out of the US server. I rage until
    after the match and I hear the whole opposing team speaking in Spanish.
