Keep joining Minecraft world at spawn with no inventory

My cousin recently switched the Minecraft word I and some of my other cousins play on to a realm. Ever since then, every time I join I’m at the original game spawn with no inventory. I’ve had this problem many times before, and it seems to be a common problem when I looked it up, but none of my usual go-to fixes have worked. I’ve tried everything I can think of, logging out of my Microsoft account, restarting my device, redownloading Minecraft, (I’m on switch but have tried all this on my phone as well). Should my cousin switch the world to a non-realm and then switch it back? Before the world was changed to a realm, closing the world and opening it was usually what fixed this issue, but now the world can’t be closed because it’s a realm, so I’m wondering if changing the word back to a regular world and then back to a realm again would work. I feel like I’m running out of options.

In Minecraft, the world is saved to the account that is "Player 1" and starts the game first.

When the second player joins that world, he is saved together with the world in Player 1's save slot.

If the second player starts the game themselves, they start a new game with a new world and empty inventory, as they have no access to Player 1's savegame. To prevent that, make sure that Player 1 starts Minecraft and enters their world, and that Player
2 then joins that session.

If you want the two players to be able to play independently on the same world, you would need to rent (and pay for) a Realm that is hosted on Minecraft's online service.

If you're going to add me just to kick me from your world as soon as i spawn without even talking to me then don't add me. I want to play minecraft not see a game i cant join.

There is a chance that your achievements are disabled for that world, if you installed a mod or enabled cheats to turn on keep inventory or similar things they will be disabled in that world permanently, unfortunately there's no way to fix this without
starting a new world altogether, if this is the case there isn't much that can be done sadly, you can check if achievements are disabled by opening your game settings while playing in your world, if they aren't disabled then try uninstalling and reinstalling
minecraft. It should keep your player data, I hope this helped!
