Memory Exceeded

Hi

I have been playing Call of Duty and all of a sudden I get the following message

"TAGINFO_HEAP_MEMORY_SIZE EXCEEDED" and it stops me playing any more of the mission.

I still have plenty of memory on the XBox 46% I think so not sure how to get past this problem

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem.

Hi,

Let's answer the following questions to properly isolate your case:

Do you have the physical copy or digital version of the game?

Are you experiencing issues with other games as well?

Is your Xbox One console connected to a wired or wireless network?

To help resolve your concern with playing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on your Xbox One console, refer to the following solutions:

Solution 1: Clear Persistent Storage

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Disc & Blu-Ray.

In the Blu-Ray section, select Persistent Storage.

Select Clear persistent storage.

Restart your Xbox One console. Access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.

Solution 2: Clear MAC Address

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Network.

Select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart. Access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.

Solution 3: Remove and re-add your Microsoft account on Xbox One

link and perform the steps provided. Make sure to restart your Xbox One console before re-adding your Microsoft account. Then, access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.

Solution 4: Reset your Xbox One to factory defaults

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting
your games or apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files. After its completion, access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.

Awesome! Because I have been thinking of getting one, but it would have meant down sizing the HDD if I couldn't just plug in my 320gb. Thanks heaps for the info!

Tried with no luck. Update size in USB is 115MB and XBox has 2.9 GB free. So not sure it is memory size. But i feel, maybe, XBox memory is somehow corrupted. When i check it, it shows available memory but shows it has no content and 0 used memory.

While I understand your frustration, the fact is many of todays games are very large in size... some exceeding 100GB+. Naturally, these games will take time to download, which will vary depending on your internet speeds.

Check under Settings - System - Memory, the memory size for a 500 GB hard disk size is usually several GB reserved for the system. if you are still unsure, contact the seller where you bought the xbox
