Keep getting randomly disconnected from xbox live servers via Backwards Compatability

I recently purchased CoD Black Ops 2 to play with friends and such, but everytime I try to play online it either A. Does not want to connect to xbox live or B. It'll randomly disconnect me out of xbox live and won't come back on. This only happens through
the 360 emulator, while I'm perfectly fine on xbox one. It's frustrating because I want to be able to actually play the games I poured my money into, sit back, and enjoy it.

I already deleted my profile on the 360 and redownloaded it. It did not fix the issue.

Anybody else having trouble staying connected to West servers lately?

I've been having a bit of trouble with some servers lately. Keep randomly getting disconnected, but it doesn't happen very often.

 

Keep getting randomly disconnected from Xbox Live

You need to have an Ethernet cable long enough to reach from your Xbox to your router/modem. Or you need to move your Xbox close enough for a Ethernet cable to reach the router.

then you just plug the cable into the back of the Xbox and the other end into the back of your router. If your router has only one Ethernet connection of the back of it, then you other devices will not work while you are testing your Xbox.

But all this can be done on a temporary basis, as a test, just to see if using a wired connection makes a difference.

I'm sorry to see any disconnection issues with Black Ops 2 on Xbox One! We were aware of some issues with this last week, however Activision has confirmed this was on their end and they have since resolved it.

If you are still having issues with this, then we will want to take a look at your connection as a whole. Please post back with the following so that we can dig into this further.

• Do you have multiple Xbox consoles in your house?
• Can you provide your detailed network statistics via Settings > All settings > Network > Network settings > Detailed network statistics?
• Are you able to play other Activision/Call of Duty games without issues?
• Can you please provide your internet provider, modem manufacturer and model number, and router manufacturer and model number?

From there, we can look at what steps we want to start with. I look forward to working with you!
