keep getting kicked off xbox live when playing online MP why is this happening with this game?

please do exactly what I listed above FoolhardyEwe50. it seems to have worked for dizzy aimer. he hasn't an issue since our last chat in the ambassador lounge.

 

I've been having this issue as well since a couple of weeks ago, with an Xfinity Modem/Router. I mean, I even put alternative MAC addresses and it still keeps disconnecting me randomly from Xbox Live. It's all BS man... and it only seems to happen when playing

Guys, you can get a free gateway from Comcast that works. It's the Arris series. The TG862G and the TG852G Work fine! Just go and exchange it for an Arris or Cisco model. If you can't, the other option is to call Comcast and they will configure some settings
to help you stay online. The Arris models are working for people that have the Technicolor TC8305C.

 

Has anyone found a fix to this yet? I've spent an hour on the phone with Xbox Support and they said the problem was with the ISP.. Called Comcast (have the Wireless Gateway), and after doing everything they said, STILL have the problem of CONSTANTLY being
kicked form games and telling me I'm offline when I'm not or that the server is unavailable. About to ask for a refund due to the fact that I cannot play the game I bought.

 

If you have the Technicolor TC8305C with Xfinity firmware, then it's Comcast's fault. It was an update gone wrong. I decided to replace my gateway and everything has been perfect for me. Go to your local Comcast store and get a XB3 Wireless Gateway or a
Arris Gateway. Do not get the same one again, the Technicolor.

 

Is there a better one of the two? Or do they both perform the same roughly? I read in a few places that the Arris had slower WiFi and Internet speeds at times but did resolve the connection issues most of the time. Thanks again!!

 

@ii No BeAsTy - There's really no need for you to replace the TC8305C with the an Arris TG. Simply ask your ISP to bridge your TC8305C to be operating in bridge mode. Then purchase your own choice of wireless router, that are known to work seamlessly with
connectivity to Xbox Live. That is, if purchasing your own wireless router is an option for you.

FYI; The Arris gateway's are also known to perform poorly with connectivity to Xbox Live. So, the choice between these two brands, stands between plague or cholera.

 

Bridge mode never worked for me. The XB3 Wireless gateway was the best choice for me and it is excellent, no issues whatsoever. The Arris TG worked for a friend I know. Besides, you can switch between these two gateways for free at a Comcast store.

 

I have the xbox360s and dish. i am constantly getting kicked off live and the lag gets me killed all the time! I a, getting to the point where I don't want to play online and that sucks cause i love the xbox line.
