    Keep getting error on startup. 0x800706ba. Xbox becomes unusable until hard reboot.


    Ever since I synced the new Xbox controller a couple weeks ago I started getting an error (0x800706ba) that locks up my Xbox until I do a hard reset (Reseat power cable). I couldn't find the error on the error code lookup.

    It's starting to become a real pain since my Xbox is located in an AV rack that distribute video throughout my house. I got the new controller to help since it has a longer range but this error is making me regret getting it.

    anyone getting error code 0x800706ba

    Anyone getting error code 0x800706ba whenever you try to go home from the store app or when starting the Xbox up. It goes away if I do a hard reboot .

    I keep getting error code 0x800706ba when trying to log in. Does anyone havevany suggestions regarding this. This is after spending nearly two days to install the initial startup update. My poor son is yet to use his xmas present. Seriously considering changing

    I've found that a hard reboot works to temporarily fix those issues, but to keep it from reoccurring you may want to try diasabling the "Quickly Resume Games" option under Xbox Settings -> Power On/Startup Options. I haven't had an issue switching between
    games (disc read error) since I made that change.

    keep getting error code 0x800706ba when I try to go on games or apps and tried unplugging Xbox and resetting internet but still keeps popping error code need help.
    This just happened to me today. cannot launch any game or apps. I'm on an X1X Project Scorpio edition and in the Skip Ahead Alpha insider ring.

    Did you do a hard reboot by holding down the power button for a few seconds? You'll know that it was a hard reboot because it'll start with the green startup screen.

    Hard drive issue.

    The data on an Xbox hard drive is not meant to be read on a PC. Trying to move them to a PC is a violation of the TOS and it is likely that the files will become corrupt and unusable.
