KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED!

Hi, pretty much all my games when I play then online I get disconnected from Xbox live after like 5 minutes of play, but the annoying factor is that I have no lag when I play the games and I don't struggle to find a game to get in, I done the diagnostics
test from my Xbox one to my internet and my results are better than my mates but they don't end up being kicked, what is the problem??

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Keep getting disconnected

dude. check out which games you've been online with lately. some of the recent updates will corrupt your main games installed on your harddrives. as well as any extra content you may have downloaded. some of these will have a yellow triangle next to them
delete them and redownload them again. that may help. i had to delete my halo reach and map packs and redownload them all over again because i kept getting disconnected from games due to a corrupt file

Hi, It seems like as you haven't port forwarded or you don't have that much bandwidth.

1.You Need to port forward everything in this link
support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live If you do not know how to follow the steps on
portforward.com

2 Once done step 1 hold your power button on your Xbox for 10-15 seconds,then unplug everything from the back

3.Don't plug it back it, instead unplug your modem wait thirty seconds and plug it back it. Once plugged in wait 60 seconds and then plug in your Xbox.

4.Go to your Xbox One> Settings>Network>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear>Restart

5.It should be all good!

Nope just disconnects me, for example call of duty just sends me back to the main menu then comes up "you must have an active network connection to play Xbox live"

@Montydogman - How strong is the signal that your Xbox sees? The speeds you reported a bit slow for seamless LIVE experience, and a low signal strength could contribute along with this to the drops.

If you don't know the difference post back all of it, the FiOS service uses a gateway which is a modem with router functions, and the airport has router functions, meaning both of them have to be configured to get around their firewalls.

To do that we'd need to know both the model and make of each of them, post it back and we can sort out which is which

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? No idea...

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Verizon?

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? Closed NAT- some functions of XBL may not work, you may not be able to chat or play with other players with closed NAT.

I suggest you unplug your modem for 30 seconds then plug it back in I hope this helps and if this dosent work please post again saying it dident work
