Keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live. What else to do?

I keep getting dropped from Xbox Live in the middle of games.

I've tried all the tips and can't resolve this problem. I'm coming up on renewal for Xbox Live on two accounts at this point I don't want to sink another $120 into this service.

Based on the following info, is there anything else I can do?

My console is registered as an Xbox 360 Pro model.

Time Attacker Achievement

Every time I try to start a Ranking Attack level, I keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live. Anyone else having this issue?

 

Can't connect to xbox live on my account?

for some reason, i keep getting signed off... 'Disconnected from XBOX LIVE,profile signed in somewhere else' how do i stop this?

For that particular
8015 190E Error there is a support website that gives some troubleshooting solutions. Make sure to try them all.

So we can rule out wireless interference.

Can you however try this:

When attempting to play on Xbox Live, turn on your PC, and open up a command prompt (on Windows press Windowskey+R and in the small window type "CMD" then OK. On Mac or Linux simply open a Terminal window).

In the commandprompt/terminal window type the following command:

ping www.google.com -t

(if you use Linux or MacOS, omit the -t option).

This should hopefully produce rows upon rows of numbers.

As soon as you get disconnected from Live, look at those numbers. Do the numbers significantly change or does the lines show a different message?

 

OK, I have a baseline for the ping result. I'll run it again next time I'm dropped from Xbox Live and report back.

 

I'm having the same issue in Northern Virginia with a Verizon FiOS wired connection to a slim.
