    Keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live on Xbox 360? Look here!


    (For Verizon Actiontec Router MI424WR only)

    Are you getting randomly disconnected from Xbox Live on your Xbox 360? (wireless)

    I tried:

    Port fowarding

    cleared my cache

    re-downloaded my profile

    enabled UPnP

    reset my modem

    Nothing seemed to work. Until I found this on the Verizon Forums

    Now I have no problem Keep getting disconnected from Xbox Live on Xbox 360? Look here! :)



    Here is what I did for my model router MI424-WR.



    1 Log into your router and go to My Network

    2 On left hand side, click on Network Connections

    3 Click the edit button for the Broadband Connection (COAX)

    4 Scroll down to Settings

    5 Scroll down to DHCP Lease: and click on Release

    6 Wait about 15 minutes

    7 Click on Renew, if you get a new IP address the problem should be resolved. If you get the same IP again, release and try again.

    Hey DaraghT, please take a look at the "START HERE" sticky we have posted on the forums (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx) and go through those steps. If they
    don't work, then take a look at this thread (forums.xbox.com/.../155649.aspx) and if those don't work, then there will be some information in the "START HERE" thread
    in bold that it will ask you to post.

    Xbox Live Gold     through the Xbox website on a mobile device instead of the console? If you are using an Xbox One, we have a support article for getting
