Keep being taken to US billing page instead of UK

Im beyond confused, was searching the store for games and stumbled across the backwards compatability section saw that Doritos crash course was free and decided to press the action

See price then was told i had no billing account which is strange because ive always been able to purchase other games, so i went along with it and was taken to a add billing account screen but it was locked to the US and wasnt able to change ive noticed
others have this issue and struggle to find an answer need help!

Thank you for coming to the community forum with your purchasing issue. Is this on a PC or on your console please. If this is an issue on the console, go onto a PC and check your Billing address on your account to make sure that all the details are correct
there. Also, while there you can purchase the game and if it tries to bring it up again as the US down in the bottom left corner you can change regions and it will make sure you are able to get it from the UK.

I found this link on another post. It worked for me. Hope it works for you.

You'll need to go to http://live.xbox.com/accountmigration and migrate your account
region. Even though it may be correct on the One and billing site, the 360 side of things may see the wrong region.

Thank you for taking the time to reply i managed to locate my billing adress and its set to my location however when i go to buy a backwards compatible game im told i need to change my payment options where im presented with a screen locked to america
even when i go to the bottom left it wont allow me to change it, im confused more than anything

Yes genuinely everything is set to the UK but for some reason when i go to purchase a game in the store on my console i am advised that my billing info on file needs updating and wheb i try to do so i am routed to a page that only allows me to out in a US
billing address. And at the bottom of that page (and that page only!) It says English (United States) and will not allow me to change it.

If i open a new tab and go to any Microsoft page it says UK but this specific one that my console pulls up is US. And the strangest part of it all is that i am paying for games pass and all with my UK info so i dont know why this keeps happening.

Those pages were taken down for the time being because a number of people were attempting to use this instead of downloading the update from Xbox Live. However, this page and the update on it are intended for emergency use only if the downloaded update fails
and your console is in need of some form of repair.
