    Anyone know if there are any plans to bring back karaoke on xbox live really miss this. Also anyone have any suggestion on a make shift karaoke solution ihave rockband3 and over 650 songs but i miss singing my classic country songs.

    Use SmartGlass to play/stop/pause, browse the database and lyrics or to add songs to the playlist. Songs don’t require any download and will playback immediately via streaming for a robust karaoke experience.

    Do they not allow you to record your own?

    I'm sure there was a Recording Studio in one of them thought Rock Band and Guitar Hero all melt into a Hazy blur to me.

    If that's there then you can record Dwight Yoakam and Lyle Lovett to your heart's content or if you want to get hardcore... a bit of Stompin' Tom Connors.

    The karaoke app is cool, but I also highly recommend the Karaoke Revolution series, which consists of 4 games, and most of the time you can find them with a microphone for only $20 to $30.

    The first 2 are the Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore series, the third is just called Karaoke Revolution, and currently available at many retailers is Karaoke Revolution: Glee.

    This series also has extra songs you can download from the marketplace, and some of the songs seem to carry over between the games.

    I really hate to admit it but I really liked doing the Karaoke! And regularly used to stop off mid mission just for a bit of Karaoke R+R!

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with Karaoke.

    Just to make sure, are you using the Karaoke App or a different game?

    If you're using the app, I would suggest trying these solutions on
    Troubleshooting the Karaoke App.

    If you're playing a different game:

    • What game are you playing?
    • Are you able to connect to Xbox Live without issue?
    • Are other games disconnecting your?

    Please let us know and we'll work from there.

    So it seems that Karaoke Xbox 360 closed due to poor sales. That would explain why avatars are dying and that Karaoke app was a commercial failure.
