Karaoke being removed from Xbox 360

To whom this may concern

I'm extremely upset about what i have come across. I downloaded the Game Karaoke for Xbox 360. and Purchased a Pass for 2 hours. Then I decided because this is a fun Game, I'll go and buy 2 mics. To my sudden surprise. Xbox decided to remove this game by
Locking the game so that your can't purchase anymore Passess. Eventually ended up Speaking to a Microsoft Consultant. telling me after 4 hours of redownloading the game with no satisfaction to Purchase more passes and was given a Number to phone oversees.
Now I'm sitting with 2 mics I bought and absolute no game available to use it on. Tried Downloading Karaoke Revolution, the a stupid message appears stating sorry Can't download game as its not available for my region. In my Live I never thought that A game
could have a Region lock on them. Who ever decided this should be shot because this is ridiculous who the hell puts region locks on games. This encourages people to move to other consoles and other games or methods. Please assist to clear up this issues!!!!

How do i get Karaoke app

Hi. How do I get the live karaoke app for xBox one? Searching the net only gives instructions for xBox 360. Is it not available on one? Being an xBox live app I would think I would be available? Any free karaoke solutions for xBox one?

 

The news regarding Karaoke has been common knowledge for over a week now. You can still play the app, but only with the 5 free songs per day. They are other Karaoke style games out there, including Lips, Rock Band & Disney karaoke games. These games might
be better for you as they can be played offline and online.

 

Its not on games its now under apps. At the top on the Xbox Dashboard click 'Apps' then 'My Apps' then it should appear there? Let us know if its not there.

 

All of then gave me the same issue.

Why is Microsoft shutting down Karaoke 360??? I've invested so much in that game and you guys decide to get rid of it? Why doesn't xbox care about what its consumers want?? First xbox one now this?? If I buy a next Gen console it won't be xbox because you
guys could give 2 sh... about us. So disappointed.

 

This that makes me angry is no one can say why its being shut down. I emailed The Karaoke Channel...they tell me to contact xbox. I contact xbox and they have no idea what I am talking about and this I need technical service! Come on...you will keep violent
games going...give updates and patches and new maps but won't keep something going that people who were using it had to pay for to use it and then unfairly took away time constantly rather than when people actually used it. It wasnt free you had to pay for
the time. Unless you are coming out with a better service than great...you should be letting us know about it

 

It was my favorite app. All my Family plays with. I´m very sad and disapointed because this notice. I agree with the other player "I've invested so much in that game and you guys decide to get rid of it? Why doesn't xbox care about what its consumers want??"
Not exists another game that we can sing so many songs paying the pass. It´s absurd!!!

 

MANY games exist where singing is a part of gameplay----

Just because only free songs are availible does not mean a Mic is useless. (You get a few achievements for only playing free songs anyway)

Try all the Lips, Rock band, Guitar Hero, American Idol etc... Games too.....

I remember one night I bought the 2 hour pass and was singing in the party to my friends. They got to hear my beautiful singing. Best. Night. Ever.

It is a shame they took this game off though. I actually loved it lol. I'm hoping there's a decent Karaoke game in the future on the X1!

 

No need to pay for fun IMO... You can sing along with MANY other games..... Or a radio.

 

another stupid thing is that it still shows up in the games area, but all you get it the splash screen and description. No download option or anything. Maybe if you could kill the singers, they'd start offering it again. Blood is what counts, I guess.

 

I have spent a frustrating few hours trying to identify why Karaoke was giving me an internet connection error. I finally found this message thread - ridiculous! I hear Singstar on the Playstation franchise is going strong... Maybe Playstation will be my
next purchase.

 

I wont buy Microsoft hardwares anymore. My wife and I are upseted by this Microsoft decision. Next console I will buy shall be a Play Station 4. Bye bye MS and uncle Gates
