just want to say thanks to a member of the xbox support team who i spoke to this morning. "Johanne" was a massive help and talked me though an issue i had regarding a live account, we got their in the end. Just want to apologize for being a bit of a dummy
and not following what she was trying to explain, 10 years as a pc gamer and switching to console and not knowing what to do with these problems on a console is tricky work.

so thanks again Johanne, you was fantastic help and maybe we'll bump into each other in-game

 

Totally agree, I am glad the focus is more games now, but still love the media features, hopefully this update will improve some of the social features that help improve community.

 

Some of their moves aren't great.... Xbox 0.5,changes in Gold account policy,closure of Xbox Entertainement studios....

"Focus on more games",so far no proof....But it is their main focus on Xbox one since E3 2013....

 

I agree, the updates and frequency are superb. Sometimes it annoys me when I sit down to play and theres an update but that's annoyance is directed more at my net provider for not giving me a better speed to download lol.

I could not agree more. MS has really turned the XB1 around. I was really disappointed in the E3 2013 show, but E3 2014 more than made up for it. I still haven't got mine, but I'm going to when I get paid this friday. Well, I hope that I can.

 

Thank you for (1) bringing out Dolby Support (2) Controller battery indicator (3) improved friends list (4) adding recent players list (5) adding external HDD support (6) adding at least some access to the console's HDD like the ability to install and delete
games (7) improving Party Chat (8) not making Kinect mandatory by having to have it plugged in for the console to function (9) no 24 hour mandatory check ins with Xbox Live in order for console to function (10) being able to use our existing profiles on 360
and 1 with no serious complications and being able to be logged on to a 360 and 1 simultaneously (11) listening to our feedback.

 

And finally thank you for the upcoming 3D playback that is coming in the next update.

They deserve some thanks. I agree we all have a lot of feedback to give to M. I think I'll stick to thanking them and making Xbox an enjoyable hobby.
