    Just updated myXBox one after system restart the console does not display on TV. How do i ...


    The troubleshoot says to hold the XBox symbol for 10 seconds but this seems to just turn the system off.

    When i turn it back on the it just sits there with the lights on does not display on TV...Help!

    Hi, do you use HDMI to connect the console to your TV ? If you do then try going into settings/ system/ console settings/ display and disable display discovery, restart the console, does that help any ?

    Can you please try following the
    update troubleshooter     and select the option to troubleshoot a system update error, I am experiencing a startup issue and this should hopefully help with your issue.

    Issue Using HDMI Cable

    Give the display reset a try. Geovanie has the steps. The console should restart. this indicates a successful reset.

    If that does not work I would recommend updating the firmware on your tv. check your tv manual for how to do this.

    Also check another hdmi cable. there could be a slight fault with the cable that is affecting the connection to the tv.

    Are you sure the console was not just completing an update?There have been a few system updates recently and you may have turned on the console at the restart stage of an update.
