    Just un-boxed my xbox, but my controller keeps un-pairing then re-pairing


    When I use my xbox my controller stops working the xbox symbol starts blinking then re-pairs. The issue is with the console because I used other controllers that I use with my other xbox and the problem still persists. I really don't wanna have to have my
    controller always hooked up via usb type c cord.

    i can connect my xbox one controller to my Samsung A5 ( 2016) mobilephone by bluetooth,

    but not to my Lenovo K6 , Bluetooth on K6 is on, K6 cann se xbox wireless controller, but when i 'll connect

    following message is on my K6 after some sconds ( translation from germann message ) Pairing could not be done, make sure that xbox contoller is on pairing mode and try it again

    If you just purchased the console and are having these issues you should return it for an exchange. Keep us updated on your progress. Good Luck!

    Xbox Series X/S Controller in Bluetooth recognized as "6 axis 16 button gamepad with hat switch" and does not function normally in games

    just trying to help, un pair the controller then can you load up device manager, then click view then show hidden devices. then right click and uninstall the following if you see them.

    the following will most likely show as greyed out but can be removed.

    xbox peripheral - xbox controller.

    human interface devices - xinput.

    and check under bluetooth to see if anything there is xinput/controller and remove.

    then restart the system and pair the controller again.

    i just had the same (or very similar) issue with an series x/s controller, what fixed it for me was to forget the controller from my paired bluetooth devices and re-pair it.

    Hi guys,

    I was able to sync my xbox one controller to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth, however when I go to turn it on now to play a game on PC, it powers on my XBox. Any way around this or do I need to have a separate controller for each platform?
    You would either need a seperate controller for the PC not synced to the xbox, or just live with the pairing. If you pair your controller with the USB wireless dongle it would force the pair to the dongle instead of the console. But then you would be require
    to re-pair the controller to the console when you wanted to use it there as well.

    Controller has to be re-paired with console after every time it is plugged into a PC?

    When you plug in a controller via USB, it becomes paired to that device (even if it's a PC). No way around this that I know of... you could always keep a USB plugged in to the Xbox One for quick re-pairing.
