Just switch from console to PC and i have problmes with the party chat, they cant hear me.

Is it that they can't hear you in an xbox live party? or is it a specific game like fortnite? if its a specific game, try going in the game settings and check the mic setting, if that doesn't work reinstall that certain game. Also, I will need you to check your NAT type and make sure that it's open. you can View your Network Address Translation (NAT) type on the Xbox Network tab of the Gaming section in the Windows Settings.

1. Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the main screen.
   
2. Select Settings > Gaming, and then select Xbox Networking.
   
3. Under Xbox Live Multiplayer, check the NAT type.

This is happening to me also but I can't even chat to anyone at all

If I join a party from a friend inviting me, or I invite someone in the party you normally see 2 purple circles next to our names yes? My friend says im not even in the party, although I CAN see them I cant even hear them and they cant hear me

Even in game chat doesn't work (Destiny) as I cant even switch between fireteam/in game chat, although my friend can switch to fireteam chat and I can hear them that way

Tried both headset and even resetting kinect, tried unplugging conolse, hard reset, nothing seems to work

I'm having the same problem with it. I going the party and my friends cant hear me and I cant hear them. some times I cant even get into party chat, I get stuck into game chat

it also happens to me a lot on fortnite were i can chat in a party chat but when i switched to game i cant hear my teammates usually restarting the game or hard restart my xbox will work

so my buddy and i both have xbox and we usually just use party chat and we communicate fine there.

when we switch to game chat however, we can hear eachother anymore. And when we have a third player in game chat that player can hear the both of us but my buddy and i still cant hear/communicate eachother.

does that make sense?

so essentialy we have to be in party chat to communicate.
