Just so many games!

Genchy, it is not my Opinion but Objective Facts and
Reality. The Games this Generation have had Content cut from Retail Release to be further sold as "DLC" or Content simply cut without any condition of added Content for the acknowledged missing Content.

Here is a simple an Objective position that Demonstrates this-

• Overwatch- has no single Player Content despite no additional Multiplayer Maps at Retail and still at full Retail Price of $60 (US)
  
• Destiny- covered above
• Star Wars Battlefront- No Single Player Campaign yet again full Retail Price and limited Multiplayer Maps and Content
  
• Titan Fall- Again the same as above
• Evolve- wow not even going to describe the fails with this one
• Alien Isolation- Even a Game a I fully enjoyed had the Nostromo Content cut from Retail to be sold as "DLC" or "Pre-order"
  

I'm sure I can gather more but those are just the tip of the AAA Games and downfall of this Generation. Shame on the Developers for allowing their Games to be chopped apart, shame on the Publishers for selling fractions of Content at full price and shame
on Gamers who repeatedly buy into this Eco-system.

I do not have to play these Games to have an Opinion in regards to these Games. Further Objective Facts in regards to these Games do not require anyone to play "X" number of them. This is not about Opinion but Objective Facts.

Old Lofty, not stop with playing Games. Do what you want. Stop with the false comparison of "like vs dislike". As stated numerous times it is not about that.

Elohm I,really don't care about your theories, I've been playing cracking titles since launch (currently 91 games available on my One drives). I have bought about 4 pieces of DLC, 3 were absoluteley worth every penny (Witcher and Fallout, Ryse ). 1 was average
(DeusEx) None of the other games I have bought and played have left me feeling short changed or that the game was lacking content.

I will keep playing you just keep theorising and crying.

 

Two best games for me this gen are Neverwinter & Star Trek Online.Both free games.Prety much sums this gen up for me.

I just wait now,games drop in price so quickly I very rarely buy anything on release now.

There are to many games being released at this time of the year but i'm in no rush to play them all.

There was one game this year I was going to buy on release but after playing the beta I don't think i'll bother now.

 

Genchy, care to ask your question again then in regards to number of Games equals value of Opinion? I have 134 Games on my HDD (insert Argument from Authority Fallacy). It further is not a "theory" or "conspiracy" to measure the
Content vs Value of a Game from this Generation to last or any prior.

Of this Gen so far here are my Games that have stood out on just the Xbox Platform-

• Onigiri-
• Alien Isolation
• Project Spark (now shut down)

Two of those are Multiplatform on top of that. Way to go Microsoft, you have brought me 1 Game as a Gamer that you shut down the Severs while in its current Community.

False comparison? Are you making this stuff up in your head? What comparison.

So I what I said before that people like different things or I might like or dislike what someone else likes or doesn't? Is false.

I like Forza, my wife doesn't so that is false? Ok .... Anyway don't reply as I'm done with this part of thread, it's stupid and frankly boring from both our parts.

Nice to see others though with so many games to play or looking forward to future titles and I'm with what Genchy said, it's getting stronger by each release.

 

Elohmn, you really need to give The Witcher 3 a go. I know you think Geralt is boring, but they do the opposite of what is wrong with this gen.

 

Too many games, not enough time. I should restrict myself to buying one platform as I've hardly touched my PS4 apart from 'No Man's Sky'

I'd normally buy Gears 4 but will wait for a drop in price as I have plenty to play.

I've hardly looked at the Games with Gold or PS+ games over the last couple of years.

As much as I like the idea of having both consoles I think I'll try and stick with one next gen if my willpower allows

 

Far, far too many games!!

At the moment, Fallout 4 is taking a huge amount of my gaming time up, far too much in fact. I'm even playing it on the PC as the performance is pretty good on my machine, plus I can max out most of the graphics.

I've been playing Forza Horizon 3 which due to being a 'Play Anywhere' title I also have it on PC as well. I've got the remastered Bioshock 1 and and 2 on PC still to play. I got them free because I already owned the originals on Steam. Not really played
them yet.

I'm seriously interested in getting the remastered Skyrim, but haven't decided what platform to buy it for. I'm getting Battlefield One, but on PS4 (sorry Xbox) and do drop in every now and again to play Battlefield 4 (also on PS4. Sorry again Xbox).

Then there is Civilization VI on PC to contemplate!

 

I will be honest and say I haven't been blown away by this generation, but there's still plenty of good games to be played and more on the way.

I've tried that myself, not just trying to stick with one console but saying to myself, "Don't need that game also" ...

I always give in lol

I thought as I got older I'd lose some interest in gaming but I'm actually enjoying it more which for me anyway means this gen is doing it right, not perfect but I have no complaints, well none worth talking about.

 

Same here Lofty. The older I get the more I like gaming, but that's probably because I'm married with kids and I'm not allowed out that much anymore haha.

 

I can't see myself ever clearing my old 360/PS3 backlog, I'd only get further behind with this gens backlog.

At the ripe old age of 45 I'm still loving my gaming. Next up is a 4K TV sometime next year before Scorpio comes along. Think I'll have a hard job talking my wife into the 88" I've seen in Currys

 

^^ Pay for it weekly. I'm getting a 4k before the Scorpio comes out. I can get a 55 inch for €18 a week but the prices will go way down by then so it'll be cheaper.
